From December 29th to 31st, the finals of the 9th "Tian Jiabing Cup" National Teaching Skills Competition for education majors were held at Zhejiang Normal University. A total of 1611 participants from 226 universities nationwide competed in this event, with 10 participants from our university. They achieved 4 first prizes, 1 second prize, and 5 third prizes, ranking sixth in the nation for the number of first prizes.

Our participants displayed outstanding performance, showcasing the excellence of Wenzhou University education majors. Ultimately, HU Yangni from the Chemistry group, XIA Yinan from the English group, RUAN Yuxin from the History group, and ZANG Hangyi from the Chinese Language and Literature group won first prizes. ZHONG Zhuoting from the Primary Education group won a second prize, while CHEN Haodong from the Mathematics group, JIA Ru from the Physics group, NI Kan from the Biology group, WANG Jiaoyu from the Ideological and Political Education group, and TAO Mengping from the Science group won third prizes.

During the finals, ZANG Hangyi from the Chinese Language and Literature group tackled the topic "Learning Activities: Word Meanings and Use of Words," demonstrating adaptability and creative teaching methods. HU Yangni from the Chemistry group simulated a teaching scenario on the detection of common functional groups in organic compounds, incorporating real-life situations to engage students. RUAN Yuxin from the History group, despite time constraints and unfamiliar material, confidently delivered a presentation on the Industrial Revolution and the factory system, using diverse teaching methods to enhance students' historical understanding.

Not only did our students showcase solid teaching skills during the simulation teaching segment, but they also demonstrated adaptability and eloquence in impromptu speeches, showcasing their professionalism.
