On the afternoon of April 23, National Reading Forum, as part of the campaign to promote the reading atmosphere across the nation, was held in Wenzhou University.

Renowned writers such as Liu Zhaolin, Xiao Kefan, and Wang Jiuxin, who were hired as the first contingent of "National Reading Advocators" by the Chinese Writers Association at the forum, shared their insights into the cultural development, especially fostering the reading atmosphere across Wenzhou City and nationwide. They also talked to the audiences and recommended books and articles they considered worth reading.

"National Reading Advocators" are all well-known national writers who have won the Mao Dun Literature Award, Lu Xun Literature Award, National Minority Literature Award, National Outstanding Children's Literature Award, etc., or have actively explored the communication and promotion of Chinese culture.
