The Yueqing Industrial Research Institute of Wenzhou University signed a contract to join the China Intelligent Measurement Industry Alliance, and was included in the low-voltage measurement equipment and component technology working group. Up till now, Wenzhou University, Xi'an Jiaotong University and Hunan University are the only three universities as the official members.

The China Intelligent Measurement Industry Alliance is a technology innovation and promotion organization composed of independent legal entities such as enterprises, universities, scientific research institutions, and social organizations under the guidance of the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Promotion Association and the China Metrology and Testing Society. The alliance focuses on key technologies and products in the smart measurement industry such as smart sensors, smart meters, information collection, and measurement traceability, and carries out joint research, standard formulation, technical exchanges, and product promotion activities. It aims to solve the common technical problems of the industry, integrate innovation resources, build public service platforms, promote the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, and protect independent intellectual property rights.

As a member of the low-voltage measurement equipment and component technology working group of the Alliance, Wenzhou University will cooperate with other members to participate in the research of low-voltage measurement equipment and component technology, system design, and formulation of national and industry standards, and actively enhance international cooperation and exchanges on projects and standards.
